How we collect, use, share, and protect personal information, what we do with the contact data you store in the platform, and the rights you have over your own information.
This Privacy Policy explains how Blue Shore Marketing LLC, doing business as Sales Nest ("Sales Nest", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our websites, the Sales Nest platform, and related services (together, the "Service").
Our role depends on the data. When we handle information about our own customers, visitors, and prospects, for example your account and billing details, we act as a controller and this Policy governs. When our customers load their own contact records into the platform we act as a processor or service provider on their behalf, and their privacy policy governs that data. If you are a contact of a Sales Nest customer and want your information corrected or deleted, contact that business directly.
Information you give us. Name, business name, email address, phone number, billing address, plan selection, support messages, and anything else you submit through forms, chat, or scheduling.
Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment processor. We receive limited details such as the last four digits, card brand, expiry, and billing postal code. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Customer Data. Content you upload to or create in the platform, including contact records, conversations, files, pipelines, and campaign configuration. We process this on your instructions.
Usage and device information. IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring pages, pages viewed, features used, timestamps, and diagnostic or crash data.
Communications metadata. Delivery, open, click, bounce, reply, and call event data generated when messages are sent through the Service.
Cookies and similar technologies, described below.
To provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service, including authentication, message routing, and storage.
To process payments, manage subscriptions, and send billing notices.
To provide support, respond to enquiries, and send service, security, and policy updates.
To improve and develop the Service, including troubleshooting, analytics, testing, and measuring feature usage.
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
To send marketing communications about our products where permitted. You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies we rely on: performance of a contract, to provide the Service you signed up for; legitimate interests, to secure and improve the Service, prevent fraud, and market to business contacts proportionately; consent, where required, for example for certain cookies and marketing messages, which you may withdraw at any time; and legal obligation, for tax, accounting, and lawful requests.
Service providers and subprocessors. Hosting and infrastructure, payment processing, telecommunications and messaging carriers, email delivery, analytics, and support tooling. Each is bound by contract to protect the information and use it only to provide services to us.
Your own integrations. When you connect a third-party service, information flows to it at your direction and is then governed by that provider policy.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.
We process Customer Data only to provide the Service, in accordance with our customer instructions, our Terms, and applicable law. We do not use Customer Data to build unrelated products, to train third-party artificial intelligence models, or to market to your contacts.
Customers who require a data processing addendum, including standard contractual clauses, may request one at [email protected].
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure how the Service is used, and improve performance. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function, others are analytics or marketing cookies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required by law we will present a consent banner. Blocking some cookies may break parts of the Service. We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, but we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where legally required.
We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active and afterwards as needed to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and audit obligations, generally up to seven years.
Customer Data is retained while your subscription is active. After termination we may delete it following a reasonable wind-down period, so export your data before you cancel. Backups and logs may persist for a limited additional period before being overwritten.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege permissions, and monitoring.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, enabling available security features, and controlling which users have access to your account.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected or disclosed, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of sale or sharing, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information.
To exercise a right, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. We will verify your identity before acting and will respond within the timeframe required by law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
We are based in the United States and our service providers may be located in other countries. If you access the Service from outside the United States you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Where required we use appropriate transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission standard contractual clauses.
The Service is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our website and the Service may link to third-party sites and tools we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the Service. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
